  3. Yes they are all very good.
    - The motorway in the desert is very neat and there is no traffic. Where are all the camels?
    - Huacachina seems to be a nice place with all the dunes around.
    - An hostal with a swimming pool, all to yourself! What luxury!
    - Liv and Patrick. Very handsome fellow, isn't it?
    - Two girls cheek to cheek...Very "Parapluies de Cherbourg"...Long before your time.
    - Sandboarding must be fun. Can't wait to see the video...

This evening you are off to Cusco...Overnight trip of 18 hours...That's a mighty long night! But with all the mod cons, dinner, breakfast and Bruce Willis on board...
Cusco has around 380,000 inhabitants and a lot of history. Seeing the pictures on the net you should have a good time.
Apparently the food is lovely and there is a chocolate factory in the centre of town.
Have a good time and bring back some choc...lol
    xxxxxxx

  4. The photos are beautiful, am very jealous!!
I can see how you got to become a lobster, it looks very arid and hot in Huacachina.
    Patrick looks chilled out!

Everyone was asking about you and your trip yesterday at Max's birthday!

    Have fun in Cusco! xx

  5. Pictures are ouy of this world, what an experience. The motorway was not quite how I had imagined you travelling by bus; I'd ooictured very old rickety vehicles packed with peasants, chickens etc. on very narrow twisted unmade roads. Very stereo typical of me I'm sure!

  6. Angelique your pics are amazing. They look so surreal its untrue. Every pic is making me so jealous. The sandboarding looks amazing too. It looks a once in a lifetime trip your having and the memories your having will stick with you forever. Your living the dream. Take care and speak soon. x x

  7. Lonely planet 0 - papa 1, for telling us abt the chocolate factory!

yes huacachina was very very surreal, another word!

mary and delm i too thought the roads would b alot different but peru is actually quite developped.
there were much more roads in ecuador which wernt paved!

  8. Hey Angelique, this is Uncle Brian again. Getting a little hooked on this intercontinental pow-wow. Huacachina looks marvellous but you and Liv made it look better. A compliment or two will help you get thru' a day or two! Patrick looks old, is he older than me? Actually, he reminds me of one of my brothers. Papa will explain!!! That hippie market in Huacachina looked fantastic, I had my hand in my pocket to buy a necklace or two and then I realised I wasn't there. Any espadrilles out there? Something in Incan adornment will do nicely!! Everyone is correct about the photos, they are magnificent and such clarity. Even this old traveller is a little envious.
Send you girls lots of love. How are the goats up there! Just a quick break from work to send you these paltry sentences. I have to tell you a few of the young guys here have been looking at your flicks but they seem to want only to look at you and Liv. A weird sense of aestheticism but they're on the right track.

Gotta' say ciao. Anon dear things.

  9. superbes photos des dunes . Magnifique région . Mais pourquoi les gars du coin s'appellent " michael end sean " et non pas pedro ou manuel ? Encore merci pour ce reportage . Robert

  10. Le "end " est une faute de frappe . Il s'agit de "and " .
