So today, we are flying into Runerrabaque to start (tomorrow) our 3day/2night jungle tour. Probably not a good idea to get smashed the night before hoping onto an 18 seater plane flying over the Andes! You´re probably wondering why I up and online and not savouring my last minutes of sleep.. well Rim called me and I seem to have been given the duties of organising everyone and everything, such as keeping the receipts and tickets for tours we do, and waking those sloths up! Speaking of which!
So I won´t be updating my blog until I get back, which will hopefully be thursday, if our plane isn´t delayed again!
Off I go to the jungle again, Nunkui is back!
Papa, please can you text Rim and tell her I´m going back into the jungle and I´ll call when I´m back! Gros Bisous

That sounds so cool. Have fun but be careful in the jungle! Piranhas are attracted to blood so don't cut yourself!!
ReplyDeleteAnd if you crash over the Anded then remember that it is now socially accepted to eat your friends! :-pp
Very funny, Emma-Jane! It shows that you have done a bit of reading , or just been watching the right programmes on TV.
ReplyDeleteAngélique, surely you mean Rurrenabaque. I read about it on Wiki and it sounds very exciting. Strangely there is no mention of piranhas, but plenty of other wild life...crocodiles, turtles, anacondas, jaguars, toucans and plenty more including the famous pink dolphins. The Rio Beni is really béni !! Ah, Ah, french joke.
And angélique your reference to the Nunkui is very subtle! I am impressed. I am sure not many people remember the Ecuadorian Amazon, Arutam and the Ashuar...
Enjoy your trek.
Lots of kisses to the girls and hi to the lads.
xxxxxxx
I am still alive.. didnt die over the andes, or get eaten by piranhas or mosquitoes as a matter of fact!
